CHERRY TIGRIS, author of the book "Toilet Paper People" will be dropping by to talk about her personal experience with the tough issue of child abuse. In her unapologetic recounting of her adopted mother’s mental illness, Cherry Tigris created toilet paper people out of rolls of toilet paper in order to distract herself from hours of being beaten & left alone. In creating these dolls, she develops a unique perspective on just what it will take to survive.
She is joined by Danick (local French musician) who will be performing a love song in dedication to these special dolls.
