This class will be a repeat of the first class, providing tailored content for participants to learn to write a compelling grant proposal. Take an in-depth look at each of the grant proposal elements:  telling your story, clarifying community needs statements, describing clear goals and objectives, and explaining how the work will be evaluated. Then put it all together as we learn the nuances of how to submit your proposal electronically, submit a letter of inquiry, or send a full proposals with your budget and other attachments.

Space is limited and this class will fill up.  Register now!

Allison Shirk is a Board Member of the Puget Sound Grantwriters Association with 15 years experience as a grantwriter, including being the former Lead Grants Manager for the largest human services nonprofit in Western Washington. Over the last four years, she has consistently raised over $600,000 yearly for Northwest nonprofits.

Here is what former participants said about Allison Shirk's grantwriting classes:

"It was wonderful learning from someone who not only understands where to find resources and how to fill out a grant application, but how to navigate the relationships and develop those when pursuing a grant."

"She was indeed excellent. Never got ruffled or stumped (and that is exceptional) and controlled the group well in terms of getting some to wait their turn when they interrupted, though usually they didn't mean to, but, nevertheless, she managed the situations deftly"

"She was generous in her openness to questions and knowledgeable in her answers. Her style facilitated valuable interaction among audience members."
