The Forest Steward program has achieved amazing results already, with projects all over Redmond helping to restore our critical urban forests. With over 150 Stewards participating in Green City Partnerships across the Puget Sound Region, you will be joining a program with a history of success.

“It just amazes me that each volunteer that works on our project puts their own piece into the larger puzzle. It is not just me doing lots of the work, but by being there and hosting the event, I help get people involved in their neighborhood. I look forward to the day that I can walk through a forest that I helped create.”

–Jay Mirro, Seattle Forest Steward

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
