Old Redmond Historic Walking Tours

OLD REMOND HISTORIC WALKING TOURS,  2012

Redmond’s Centennial year is here.  Take our guided walking tour of the historic downtown core.  It is guaranteed to provide facts, figures, and fun, since historian Tom Hitzroth will be the man with the stories, gossip, and names.  Did you know in whose building an alleged bordello operated?  Hint: He would later become Redmond’s longest serving mayor!

Tom is expanding his guide services in honor of the Centennial, offering five downtown tours this year: May 6, May 20, June 3, June 17, and September 9.  Tours run from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., beginning on the front steps of the Justice White House, 7730 Leary Way NE.,  at the west end of Redmond Town Center where the Saturday Market is held.   A tour will not be held if it rains.  He is also doing a tour of the Redmond Cemetery on July 15 and one of Redmond’s haunted history on September 30.  The  starting place for these two has not yet been determined.
