Redmond Historical Society - Annual Picnic

History is happening in the Redmond area and we welcome you to our annual picnic.  The Redmond Historical Society will meet on Saturday, June 9, 2012, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Anderson Park, 7802 168 Avenue NE, Redmond, WA.   This is the annual picnic, so bring your family and friends and a favorite potluck dish to share.  The Society will provide the rest.  Two History Hero awards will be presented.  The Old Time Fiddlers are providing entertainment.  Don’t miss this last get-together until September. RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
