I love the community that comes with Redmond Parent Cooperative Preschool. The teachers are amazing! We are really enjoying our time there. Also: we still have a few spaces for the 2012/13 classes! :-)

I've toured countless daycares and preschools in Vancouver, Canada and on the Eastside, and have found Sammamish Montessori School to be the best I've ever seen. My children have been going there since September, and I continue to be impressed by the Montessori teaching method and how it is reflected in how my children learn, communicate and react to various situations (I was very dubious about Montessori for many years). The overall "respect" they learn at SMS is truly amazing for a 5 and 3 year old! The school itself is clean, well-run and organized, but I think the teachers are the true stars. My son also spent a year at Farrel-McWhirter, and we loved that preschool too. But my vote for the best preschool with Redmond remains with Sammamish Montessori.

Kindercare at Redmond Way and E.Lake Sammamish. A small inviting, very well looked after facility. Classrooms are open and visible to the various classes so when your child is ready to be promoted, he has seen the room where he is going. Very parent oriented, daily written sheets, online communication. All in all, a happy cheerful place.

redmond outdoor preschool. A great preschool where the kids learn in an outdoor setting. Our grandaughter has become a steward of her enviroment and looks forward to spending time outdoors rain or shine!

Thanks for the input, everyone. I've added Academy Hill, Kindercare and Redmond Outdoor to the poll. Please continue to leave your comments when selecting your favorite—the results are still neck and neck!

Best Beginnings is so warm and caring. Their philosophy is well thought out and my daughter absolutely loves it. It is one of those places that makes you want to extoll its virtues from a mountaintop but not so loud that you couldn't get your kid into the next school year easily ;). It is also extremely well regarded at my local elementary by teachers and parents alike.

Our son had learned so much at Goddard School! The staff & teachers are amazing-they truly love what they do and it creates such an amazing learning environment for him. We couldn't have made a better choice!

Shauna Barison and her staff at the Goddard School on Redmond Ridge not only provide me with peace of mind (I know my child is physically safe), but I also feel great leaving our child in their caring and nurturing hands. Our questions and concerns along the way are always addressed with a professional and caring attitude, and they treat each time as a chance to learn and improve. Our child enjoys his days there, and he is constantly coming home having learned something new. We totally recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

I absolutely love the Goddard preschool in Redmond. All the teachers and staff know my kids by name and are so warm and caring. They put a lot of time and love into their planning. My kids love going to there and the communication between staff and teachers is excellent. They allow kids to learn at their own pace while challenging them when needed.

My little guy has been going to Goddard since he was 3 months old. (He's 9 months now!) He smiles when he sees his teachers, as well as Shauna, Lynda, Brittany and Marion. They take the time to interact and know each child. The teachers take time to comminicate to us about our little guy's day...Miss Jazzmine, Miss Mandy and Miss Gabrielle are great and caring towered all the kids!!! They are constantly talking to them! In the 6 months that our little guy has been there, he has had a smile for everyone there!! It makes us feel like he is comfortable and cared for - physically and emotionally. Given that the kids in his class are such little people, the teachers take the time to help create activities that help each grow to their next developmental milestone. Goddard is great!!!

Redmond's Goddard School is simply amazing! I have sent both of my boys to this school and cannot believe how they have just blossomed - socially, emotionally and academically! My kids love this school and it's obvious how much the owners and staff are invested in each child's success. I would whole-heartedly and enthusiastically recommend Goddard School to any parent!

I love the family environment and wonderful teachers at Community Children's Center. My son will be in Kindergarten next year and is well prepared based on the teachers and support he has received.

My daughter loves going to The Goddard School. She has been going there for two years and she learned so much - academically and socially. What she loves are her friends (they are thaught to share and cooperate and respect each other - no bullying allowed), her teachers (= no nosense, healthy boundaries and tons of support), her music and spanish classes and the playground. What I love is that the school is safe, clean, flexible, the staff maintains open communication and all the people my daughter comes into contact with are super supportive and vested in her success. Keep up the awesome job Goddard!
