Pet of the Week: Snoop the Cat

This affectionate feline is up for adoption through Redmond-based Motley Zoo Animal Rescue.

Meet Snoop, a loving 3-year-old male cat looking for a permanent home through Redmond-based Motley Zoo Animal Rescue.

Found as a stray, Snoop is an easy-going feline who is comfortable around other dogs and cats. He has been neutered, flea-treated, microchipped, and is up to date on all his vaccinations.

Notes from Snoop's foster home: Snoop is a loving kind of guy, very sweet and affectionate. He's a bit overweight but he's also just a big boy so he only needs to lose a couple of pounds. He's a bit lazy and roly poly, but that's probably also due to the excess weight. He's a confident guy that does well with dogs and other cats. He's very friendly and loves attention. Snoop doesn't love car rides, and will let you know vocally that he's not a fan. He's super chill and easy, practically like a dog—nothing phases this guy! He's a wonderful guy who would make a great addition to any family!

How to adopt: Email adopt@motleyzoo.org to request an adoption application. For more information about Snoop, check out his Petfinder profile or visit www.motleyzoo.org.

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
