Alert Redmond Resident Tips Off Police to Burglary

Redmond Police arrested two men attempting to break into a home after a resident called them Wednesday, Aug. 14.

Redmond Police this morning are praising a local resident who tipped them off to a burglary in progress on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

According to police, during the day two men apparently cased a neighborhood by claiming to be selling Kirby vacuums door-to-door.

Around 11:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a forced entry break-in at the 7900 block of 152 AVE NE, where a 34-year-old Lynnwood man and a 32-year-old Lake Stevens man were arrested for or attempted residential burglary. One of the men had burglary tools in his possession.
