Holiday Weekend Police Blotter: Assault at QFC, Marijuana Found in Park

The following incidents were reported between Wednesday, Nov. 21, and Sunday, Nov. 25.

From the Redmond Police Department:

Wednesday, Nov. 21

7:17 a.m., 7400 block of W Lake Sammamish Parkway: A disturbance was reported at an assisted living facility.

12:17 p.m., 15800 block of Redmond Way: A group of male subjects stole a large amount of liquor from a grocery store.

7:21 p.m., 7800 block of Leary Way: RPD took a car prowl report. 

7:21 p.m., 7800 block of Leary Way: RPD took a car prowl report. 

7:35 p.m., 7800 block of Leary Way: RPD took a car prowl report. 

11:34 p.m., 183rd Place NE and NE 95th Street: Redmond Police responded to a domestic violence call for service.

Thursday, Nov. 22

10:53 p.m., 9700 block of 171st Ave. NE: Redmond Police investigated a domestic violence assault. A 30-year-old Bothell woman was arrested.

11:18 p.m., 17200 block of NE 104th St.: Redmond Police responded to a suspicious activity report.

Friday, Nov. 23

9:18 p.m., 6100 block of 145th Court NE: Redmond police responded to a reported theft of mail. 

Saturday, Nov. 24

9:10 a.m., 10900 block of 176th Circle NE: Redmond Police responded to a report that a patient with dementia struck another patient in the chin. The victim did not sustain any injuries.

9:48 p.m., 15800 block of Redmond Way: Redmond Police investigated a theft of wine at a local grocery store.

10:50 p.m., 15000 block of NE 116th St.: Redmond Police located marijuana on a subject in Sixty Acres Park, after hours.

Sunday, Nov. 25

12:33 a.m., NE 70th St. and Redmond Way: A 49-year-old Sammamish man was stopped for several moving violations and subsequently placed into custody for investigation of DUI.

11:33 a.m., 18100 block of NE 95th St.: Redmond Police responded to a verbal argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend.

2:03 p.m., 2300 block of 148th Ave. NE: Redmond Police investigated a theft.

5:51 p.m., 8800 block of 161st Ave. NE: Redmond PD responded to an assault in progress. A 26-year-old Redmond man was located and arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault against a QFC employee and malicious mischief.

Our front yard gets a fair amount of sun, it faces south. Back yard is more shady/wet. We've beenRead More trying to grow grass back there and just have never had good success. I would be open to whatever someone suggests for planting (veggies, sunflowers whatever). People can contact me at ariana at chris burgess dot com.
