Issaquah Man Charged With Molesting Boy After Redmond Traffic Stop, SeattlePI.com reports

The 15-year-old alleged victim told Redmond Police he met the suspect via Craigslist.

An Issaquah man is facing charges of child molestation after Redmond Police arrested him on suspicion of DUI and found a 15-year-old boy riding in the passenger seat, SeattlePI.com reports.

According to the PI, Redmond Police stopped Eric N. Victorson of Issaquah on suspicion of driving under the influence at 2:30 a.m. on June 2 and found a 15-year-old boy riding in the passenger seat. Police said the boy told the patrol officer he'd met Victorson, 38, earlier that night after the defendant responded to an ad the teen posted on Craigslist.

The boy went on to say he met with Victorson after sneaking out of his home. According to charging documents, Victorson touched his genitals while parked in the driveway of a Redmond home, which they left after a resident confronted them.

Questioned by officers following his arrest for DUI, Victorson claimed the boy was a “good friend from work” and lied about his own age, saying he was 27, the detective told the court.

Victorson, a computer programmer assigned to a project at , is being jailed on a $250,000 bail. He was convicted of the same crime in 1998, according to the PI.
