Man Recovering After Being Shot in Second Kirkland Home Invasion in Two Days

Kirkland Police say two men entered the home and pistol-whipped the 26-year-old man and then shot him in the arm and torso. He is in stable condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

A 26-year-old man is in stable condition after being shot in the arm and torso during what appears to be a home invasion robbery in the Junaita area Sunday night at about 10 p.m., Kirkland Police are reporting.

The man was at home in the 12000 block of 102nd Court NE with his girlfriend when two men apparently forced their way in and pistol-whipped the man in front of the woman, according to a news release by the Kirkland Police Departmen.

The victim and the two men at some point left the house, and a gunshot was heard by the woman inside. The suspects then fled on foot. Kirkland Police responded and found the man with a gunshot wound in the arms and torso. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle by the Kirkland Fire Department aid crew, where he was in stable condition, the press release said.
