Man Sends 90 Rapidfire Texts to Female Co-Worker in 2 Hours: Redmond Police Blotter

Tuesday, July 30
Car prowler, thief caught: A 24-year-old Kent man was spotted by officers at 7:00 a.m. July 31 in a stolen vehicle. He had fallen asleep when officers spotted him in the stolen vehicle, which was full of stolen property. He was taken into custody without incident. It’s not yet known if this person is tied to a string of five reported car prowls that occurred the night before, but he was close by at the 4100 block of 169th Court NE.
Fraud-Credit Card ATM Fraud: 10:13 p.m., 2200 block of 148 AVE NE, Police responded to a report of fraud.
Shoplifting: 9:22 p.m., 17200 block of REDMOND WY, Redmond Police arrested a 30-year-old Duvall man for shoplifting.
Wednesday, July 31
Theft-Bicycle: 5:42 p.m., 3800 block of 167 PL NE, Redmond Police took a report of a stolen bicycle from a local apartment complex.

Burglary, Residential, Forcible Entry: 3:58 p.m., 10800 block of 161 AVE NE, Redmond Police investigated a burglary at a local residence.
Theft-Shoplifting: 3:43 p.m., 17200 block of REDMOND WY, Redmond Police responded to a theft report at a local business. The suspect was not positively identified.

Car prowl: 07:22 a.m., 8200 block of 145 CT NE, A car was prowled in a neighborhood in Redmond.
Reckless Driving: A 16-year-old Sammamish teen was cited for reckless driving.
Thursday, Aug. 1
Assault DV-Simple: 10:37 p.m., 15700 block of BEAR CREEK PKWY, A woman was arrested for DV Malicious Mischief.
Theft-Bicycle: 9:30 p.m., 9000 block of WILLOWS RD, A citizen reported a bicycle theft.
Stolen Veh-Recovery-Wa Agency: 9:00 p.m., 8300 block of 167 AVE NE, Redmond Police recovered a vehicle stolen out of Kirkland. Limited suspect descriptions were provided.
Fraud: 7:00 p.m., 13300 block of NE 75 ST, Redmond Police took a report for a wire transfer fraud at a local residence.
Theft-Other: 7:00 p.m., 7800 block of LEARY WY, Redmond Police took a theft report.
Theft-Shoplifting,Attempt: 5:17 p.m., 17200 block of REDMOND WY, Redmond Police took a shoplift report.
Fraud: 11:51 a.m., 6400 block of E LK SAMMAMISH PKWY, Redmond Police responded to a Fraud resulting from an internet scam.
A 33-year-old Redmond man was arrested on suspicion of identity theft and possession of stolen property.
Friday, Aug. 2
Mallicious Mischeif/ Vandalism: 6:51 p.m., 2500 block of 186 AVE NE, Redmond Police took a report of vandalized mailbox.
Suspicious Circumstance: 4:08 p.m., 15300 block of REDMOND WY, Redmond Police responded to a reportedly suicidal male. The male was not located.
Suspicious Circumstance: 1:30 p.m., 18400 block of NE 95 ST, Redmond Police took a report of a car prowl.
Trespass of Real Property 1: 05:57 a.m., 158 AVE NE & NE 85 ST, A 23-year-old Redmond man and a 21-year-old Redmond woman were arrested for trespassing in a construction site.
Hit-and-Run: A 25-year-old Enumclaw man was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run.
Saturday, Aug. 3
Theft of Mail: 10:49 a.m., 18100 block of NE 95 ST, Redmond Police responded to theft of mail at an apartment complex.
Car prowl: 03:00 a.m., 6700 block of 195 PL NE, Redmond Police responded to a reported car prowl.
Agency Assist – Criminal: 06:46 a.m., 8000 block of 132 AVE NE, Redmond Police were involved with an agency assist with Kirkland police.
Burglary Arrest: A 26-year-old Redmond man and a 32-year-old Maple Valley man were arrested on suspicion of a non-residential burglary.
Sunday, Aug. 4
Theft-Shoplifting: 8:38 p.m., 17600 block of UNION HILL RD, Redmond Police took a shoplift report. Suspects caught on camera.
Theft-Shoplifting: 10:21 a.m., 17200 block of REDMOND WY, A male suspect stole liquor from a department store. The incident was captured on video surveillance.
Monday, Aug. 5
Theft of Mail: 11:58 p.m., 8700 block of 160 AVE NE, A report was taken for a prior theft.
Controlled Substance: 7:24 p.m., 10900 block of AVONDALE RD, Redmond Police responded to a report of an unwanted person in an apartment.
Theft-Other: 12:48 p.m., 15900 block of NE 83 ST, Redmond Police responded to a theft report at a local apartment complex. There are no suspects at this point.
Phone Threat: 12:12 p.m., 6900 block of OLD REDMOND RD, Redmond Police responded to a report of threat via telephone.
Car stolen: 06:19 a.m., 3900 block of W LK SAMMAMISH PKWY, REDMOND POLICE TOOK THE REPORT OF A STOLEN VEHICLE
Tuesday, Aug. 6
Assault DV-Simple: 03:05 a.m., 18200 block of NE 92 ST, Redmond Police investigated a physical domestic disturbance.
Harassment: 12:47 a.m., 15300 block of NE 40 ST, Complainant reported a male co-worker was harassing her and sent her 90 text messages in a span of 2 hours when he was asked to stop.
