Memorial Scheduled for Deputy Stan Chapin

The beloved Eastlake High School resource officer will be remembered with a public viewing and memorial service in Bothell.

Services for King County Sheriff's Deputy and Eastlake High School resource officer Stan Chapin were announced Thursday.

A public viewing for Chapin will take place at Bothell's Acacia Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5.

A public memorial service will follow at Bothell's St. Brendan Catholic Church at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Chapin, , had served with the King County Sheriff's Office for nearly 40 years and had worked as a school resource officer at Sammamish's Inglewood Junior High and Eastlake High School for 12 years.
