Minors in Possession of Pot, DUI Arrest – Redmond Police Blotter

The following incidents were reported between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Friday.

From the Redmond Police Department:

Feb. 27

5:30 p.m., 79xx block of 170 PL NE: Redmond Police responded to a fraud whereby the victim's information was fraudulently used for tax filing.

4:45 p.m., 176xx block of REDMOND WY: Redmond Police responded to an assault at a local business. The suspect has been identified.

1:16 p.m., 172xx block of NE 70 ST: There was a report of an attempted burglary at a local business. A back door window was smashed but no items were taken from the property.

9:38 a.m., 93xx block of AVONDALE RD: Redmond Police located a stolen vehicle at an apartment complex.

9:29 a.m., 139xx block of NE 84 ST: An adult male was observed on a residential property between a large construction trailer and the east perimeter fence near the street. He claimed to have a legitimate reason for being there but his story was not credible. He was identified and released.

9:24 a.m., 112xx block of WILLOWS RD: There was a report of a car prowl at a local office complex. The rear window in a company vehicle was smashed, but no property was taken.

8:23 a.m., 163xx block of NE 98 ST: A Seattle area man was arrested for a drugs related crime after he was called in as a suspicious person walking around in private back yards.

Feb. 28

11:44 p.m., 48xx block of 156 AVE NE: Redmond Police responded to a reported burglary. There is no suspect information at this time.

10:06 p.m., 188xx block of NE 116 ST: Redmond Police located several minors in possession of marijuana while at a local park.

7:28 p.m., 162xx block of NE 36 WY: Redmond Police responded to a theft of a cell phone.

11:06 a.m., 29xx block of 152 AVE NE: Local adult care facility requested assistance with a combative female resident.

10:17 a.m., 150xx block of NE 24 ST: Alcoholic beverages stolen from local grocery store.

March 1

1:25 a.m., 136xx block of NE 100 ST: Redmond Police investigated an attempted theft from a motor vehicle.

12:08 a.m., NE 116 ST & RED-WOOD RD: Redmond Police arrested a Redmond female for DUI.

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
