Prolific Retail Thief Observed – Redmond Police Blotter

The following incidents were reported between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Friday.

From the Redmond Police Department:

Feb. 20

10:39 p.m., 148xx block of NE 24 ST: A vehicle prowl occurred at a local business.

4:28 p.m., 79xx block of WILLOWS RD: Redmond Police responded to a report of a theft. There are no suspects at this time.

2:55 p.m., 74xx block of 166 AVE NE: A prolific retail thief was observed at a local store using a store credit card.

2:03 p.m., 85xx block of 148 AVE NE: Complainant attempted to open a line of credit at a local store. She was turned down for credit and informed that her SSN had already been used with an existing account. Her name was not used, just her SSN. She contacted Equifax and opened a fraud alert. No outstanding credit issues with her name at this time.

9:53 a.m., 34xx block of 180 AVE NE: Police responded to a residence that had been foreclosed upon recently. The victim bank was reporting the theft of appliances and light fixtures. No suspect information.

Feb. 21

3:48 a.m., 159xx block of NE 53 ST: Redmond Police responded to a residential burglary.

9:42 p.m., 148xx block of NE 24 ST: A vehicle prowl occurred at a local business.

4:10 p.m., 176xx block of UNION HILL RD: Redmond Police responded to a shoplift report. The suspect was arrested and released.

12:56 p.m., 162xx block of NE 87 ST: Police issued a trespass warning letter at a local business.

8:16 a.m., 106xx block of WILLOWS RD: Sometime during the night someone smashed the windows of two company vans. The vans were empty and nothing was taken.
