Redmond Police Blotter: Officers Investigate Suspicious Box at Microsoft

The following incidents were reported between 6 a.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday.

Thursday, Sept. 8

9:00 a.m., 18000 block of Union Hill Road: Redmond police investigated a suspected incident of marijuana possession.

2:56 p.m., 2200 block of 148th Ave. NE: Police arrested a 32-year-old Redmond woman on suspicion of shoplifting.

4:50 p.m., 18100 block of NE 95th St.: Redmond Police assisted a business owner with an employee problem.

6:47 p.m., 15200 block of NE 40th St.: Redmond Police responded to a report of a suspicious cargo box in the parking lot on the Microsoft campus. There was no threat. The box was removed as a forgotten utility box.

9:56 p.m., 3600 block of W Lake Sammamish Parkway: Two subjects were contacted in the park after dark. Both had allegedly been consuming alcohol in the park and will be cited with minor in possession/minor in consumption.
