Redmond Police Blotter: Man Assaults Child on School Bus

The following incidents were reported between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday.

Redmond Police are investigating after the father of a student allegedly boarded a school bus Wednesday morning and pulled the hair of an 11-year-old boy whom he said had kicked his son in a previous incident.

Department spokesman Jim Bove said the boy whose hair was pulled was "obviously scared" but not injured. The incident is still under investigation with Redmond Police.

“We are still investigating, and speaking with the victim’s parents to find out whether or not they want to press charges,” Bove said.
