Redmond Police Blotter: Police Find Abandoned Vehicle with Engine Running

6:05 a.m., 9000 block of Avondale Road: Redmond Police responded to a running vehicle with keys in the ignition. The vehicle was secured and keys placed in evidence for safekeeping.

7:27 a.m., 7900 block of 178th Place NE: Redmond Police investigated the report of a car prowl at a local gym.

8:05 a.m., 4300 block of 156th Ave. NE: Vehicle parked in apartment complex, window smashed, no loss.

10:08 a.m., 15600 block of NE 40th St.: Vehicle prowled overnight while parked at apartment complex.

10:52 a.m., 8200 block of 161st Ave. NE: Between Friday evening and Monday morning, unknown person(s) cut the lock/chain securing victims property to a rack located in a parking garage and removed the property without the victim's permission or knowledge.

2:46 p.m., Redmond Way and 185th Avenue NE: A Bellevue woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

3:51 p.m., NE 24th Street and Bel-Red Road: Redmond Police arrested a subject who had active warrants.

6:42 p.m., 9800 block of Avondale Road: Redmond Police responded to a report of a suspect who allegedly stole beer from a grocery store. The suspect, a 27-year-old Seattle man, was apprehended and arrested.

9:05 p.m., 3900 block of W Lake Sammamish Parkway: Redmond Police investigated an assault that occurred at a local apartment complex.

Wednesday, Jan. 25

12:40 a.m., 16900 block of Redmond Way: A 63-year-old Kirkland man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

1:07 a.m., 16600 block of NE 34th Court: Redmond Police arrested a man on suspicion of domestic violence assault.
