Redmond Police Blotter: Police Respond to Five Car Prowls

The following incidents were reported between 6 a.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Monday, May 21

9:05 a.m., 15800 block of Leary Way: Police investigated a report of bank fraud. Unknown person withdrew funds from the victim's bank account.

9:12 a.m., 8100 block of 146th Court NE: Redmond Police investigated a car prowl in which a backpack was taken.

10:04 a.m., 17600 block of NE 76th St.: A Redmond resident reported that he had medication taken from his car while it was unlocked and parked in Fred Meyer. No suspects or witnesses.

10:04 a.m., 7300 block of W Lake Sammamish Parkway: Police investigated a theft from a vehicle. A window was smashed and electronics taken from inside glove box.

11:02 a.m., 4200 block of W Lake Sammamish Parkway: Victim's vehicle was prowled while parked overnight in an apartment complex parking lot.

11:46 a.m., 18100 block of NE 95th St.: Passenger window was smashed and a small electronic item was taken from the vehicle.

11:50 a.m., 2300 block of 148th Ave. NE: Redmond Police investigated a theft complaint.

5:16 p.m., 11600 block of Willows Road: Redmond Police investigated a theft complaint.

6:10 p.m., 18500 block of NE 67th Court: Redmond Police investigated a report of fraud. The victim's credit cards were used without her permission at a Redmond business.

Tuesday, May 22

12:24 a.m., 17200 block of Redmond Way: Redmond Police arrested a 47-year-old Redmond man on suspicion of DUI.
