Redmond Police Blotter: Small Brush Fire Located Behind Home

The following incidents were reported between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Thursday.

From the :

Tuesday, Sept. 11

4:48 p.m., 17000 block of Avondale Way: A female suspect attempted to cash a forged check. She left the bank prior to police arrival.

8:34 p.m., 17600 block of Redmond Way: Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. 

Wednesday, Sept. 12

7:12 a.m., 7900 block of 170th Place NE: Police responded to a report of a stolen motorcycle.

9:24 a.m., 8900 block of 161st Ave. NE: Redmond Police took a report of a fraud that occurred at a local credit union.

4:36 p.m., 17700 block of NE 76th St.: Redmond Police responded to a vehicle prowl at a local business. 

7:36 p.m., 11000 block of 156th Place NE: Redmond Police responded to a domestic violence related incident.

11:20 p.m., 6400 block of 191st Place NE: Resident observed flames in a greenbelt behind his residence. Redmond PD and Fire located a small brush fire.

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
