Redmond Police Blotter: Thieves Steal Liquor, Vacuums From Local Stores

The following incidents were reported between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Thursday.

Tuesday, Nov. 13

9:46 a.m., 8800 block of 161st Ave. NE: Two male subjects stole liquor from a grocery store.

9:05 p.m., 8800 block of 161st Ave. NE: Redmond Police investigated the loss of property at a local business.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

8:34 a.m., 15800 block of Leary Way: Redmond Police conducted a welfare check on a local resident, and found the subject deceased. Foul play is not suspected.

8:38 a.m., 17400 block of NE 22nd St.: Redmond Police took a fraud complaint from a citizen who received an email that he suspected to be part of a scam. 

9:15 p.m., 15000 block of NE 24th St.: Redmond Police investigated a shoplift from a grocery store. A male suspect was seen by employees concealing liquor and food items. When he left the store without paying, employees confronted him. The suspect fled on foot after dropping all stolen items. He was not located.

9:39 p.m., 16200 block of NE 83rd St.: Redmond Police responded to a malicious mischief complaint. Suspects were located on scene.

10:06 p.m., 17600 block of Union Hill Road: Redmond Police investigated a shoplift of multiple vacuums from a local department store.
