Redmond Police Blotter: UPS Finds Package With Marijuana

The following incidents were reported between 6 a.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Monday, Aug. 6

3:29 p.m., 9800 block of Willows Road: Redmond Police investigated a theft of medication.

5:01 p.m., 15800 block of Redmond Way: Redmond Police took a theft report. Suspects were caught on camera.

Tuesday, Aug. 7

6:04 p.m., 15800 block of Bear Creek Parkway: Redmond Police took a bike theft report from a local apartment complex.

6:20 p.m., 15800 block of Redmond Way: Police took a theft report from QFC.

7:15 p.m., 15700 block of Redmond Way: Police made a DUI arrest.

8:59 p.m., 18000 block of Union Hill Road: A package believed to contain marijuana was turned over to RPD by UPS Security.

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
