Redmond Police Blotter: Vehicle Stolen from Downtown Area

The following incidents were reported between 6 a.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Monday, Feb. 27

7:42 a.m., 16300 block of NE 83rd St.: Redmond Police took the report of a stolen vehicle. The theft occurred during the previous night.

10:06 a.m., 2000 block of 148th Ave. NE: Victim reported their vehicle was prowled twice during the past few weeks while it was parked in a public parking lot. No sign of forced entry. A GPS unit was stolen.

1:23 p.m., 17200 block of Redmond Way: Police investigated a theft from a store.

3:48 p.m., NE 83rd Street: Redmond Police responded to an auto theft recovery report at a local residence. 

4:11 p.m., 8500 block of Willows Road: Redmond Police responded to a reported broken rear window of a car.

5:28 p.m., 12100 block of 166th Place NE: Redmond Police investigated the theft of items from a vehicle that may have been left unlocked.

5:40 p.m., 4000 block of 173rd Court NE: Police responded to a report of harassment.

8:36 p.m., 8700 block of 164th Ave. NE: Redmond Police investigated the theft of a transit card.

11:25 p.m., 16800 block of Redmond Way: Redmond Police contacted a man on a traffic stop. Drug-related charges are pending further investigation.

Tuesday, Feb. 28

2:50 a.m., 8800 block of 161st Ave. NE: Redmond Police responded to QFC to contact a shoplifting suspect from the night before. During the investigation, a debit card not belonging to the suspect was located. The suspect was trespassed and further investigation is being sought for the debit card.
