Redmond Police Release New Info in Hit and Run Collision

A 22-year-old pedestrian was injured last week after being struck by a vehicle near the Bella Bottega shopping center.

The has released new details in a that sent a 22-year-old pedestrian to the hospital with head and leg injuries last week.

Using information provided by the victim, evidence located at the scene, and input from local auto body experts, police believe the vehicle involved in the scene is a pewter colored 2004-2012 Chevy Colorado or GMC Sonoma pickup truck with two-wheel drive (sample photos are attached).

The vehicle likely has front-end and hood damage, and might have a damaged windshield as well, according to a department news release.

The victim was found in the roadway near the intersection of Northeast 85th Street and 164th Avenue Northeast just before 6 a.m. on Monday, March 5. He has since been released from the hospital but is still recovering from the leg injury, according to department spokesman Jim Bove.
