Redmond Police Search for 1st Security Bank Robber

The branch on Northeast 24th Street was robbed just after 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

are searching for a man who robbed a branch in the 14800 block of NE 24th St. Thursday afternoon.

Police believe the suspect is the same person who robbed several banks in the Seattle area on Wednesday and Thursday. In the Redmond robbery, the suspect approached the counter and was given an undisclosed amount of money.

No weapon was seen or implied, and no one was injured in the incident.

The suspect is a white male in his mid-20s with a slender weight standing between 5-feet, 10-inches and 6-feet, 1-inch tall. He was wearing a black pea coat, black beanie and blue jeans.

Police have identified a possible suspect vehicle as a small dark-colored sedan with one stock and three custom tire rims.

Thursday's robbery occurred just eight days after a KeyBank branch on the same street . Police have not said whether they have identified a suspect in that incident or whether the two robberies could be related.
