UPDATE: Pony Rescued From Redmond Ravine
KING 5 News is reporting that the King County Sheriff's office has called in an animal rescue team to get the horse out of a 40-foot ravine in Novelty Hill.
Update, 3 p.m. May 28: The pony that slid down a 70-foot ravine on Novelty Hill has been rescued.
King County Search and Rescue tweeted the news with a photo just after 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon: "Subject safe!"
According to KING 5, rescue crews wrapped a fire hose around Gemma, an 800-pound fjord pony, to pull her from a ravine near Saddle Rock Stables. She had been missing since Sunday.
The depth of the ravine was originally reported as 40 feet but was later corrected to 70 feet.

Original post, 9:05 a.m. May 28: KING 5 News is reporting that rescuers are working Tuesday morning, May 28 to pull a horse out of a 40-foot ravine in Redmond near Saddle Rock Stables on Novelty Hill.
The horse appears in good health, with water and hay. The King County Sheriff’s Office reportedly called in an animal rescue team to get the horse out of the ravine, near the 24000 block of 115th Street.
