Spate of Car Prowls and Car Vandalism: Redmond Police Blotter

More than a half-dozen car prowls were reported around Redmond Tuesday, June 25.

The following information is compiled from Redmond Police logs for June 25. Where an arrest is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, June 25

Car Prowl: 9:58 p.m., 5500 block of 159 PL NE, Redmond Police investigated a report of a car prowl at a local residence.

Car Prowl: 9:27 p.m., 16300 block of REDMOND WY, Redmond Police investigated a reported theft from a motor vehicle.

Car Prowl: 9:13 p.m., 16600 block of REDMOND WY, Redmond Police located a vehicle that had been broken into.

Theft-Shoplifting: 8:42 p.m., 17200 block of REDMOND WY, Redmond Police took a shoplift report. Suspect known.

Car Prowl: 7:24 p.m., 2300 block of 148 AVE NE, Redmond Police responded to a car prowl.

Car Prowl: 6:30 p.m., 15100 block of NE 24 ST 

Malicious Mischief / Vandalism – Misdemeanor: 3:21 p.m., 9800 block of WILLOWS RD, Redmond Police investigated suspicious damage to a man's vehicle.

Theft-Shoplifting: 2:03 p.m., 17200 block of REDMOND WY, Unidentified shoplifter caught on camera. Merchandise returned to store.

Malicious Mischief / Vandalism – Misdemeanor: 12:41 p.m., 18100 block of NE 95 ST, Redmond Police took a report of vehicle vandalism.

Missing Person: 08:45 a.m., 7700 block of 149 AVE NE, A 50-year-old female with a history of depression and suicide attempts had not returned home.

Car Prowl: 07:38 a.m., 16300 block of NE 83 ST, Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a vehicle and stole a cell phone.
