Two Kirkland Wells Fargo Branches Robbed in Two Days

The FBI says the Bridle Trails Wells Fargo branch was robbed by three men Thursday morning, a day after a lone armed robber hit the Juanita Village Wells Fargo.

Three men robbed the Bridle Trails Wells Fargo Bank in Kirkland late Thursday morning, says the FBI—the second Wells Fargo branch robbed in Kirkland in two days. FBI spokeswoman Ayn Sandalo Dietrich said authorities do not believe the robberies are connected.

Few details about the latest robbery have been revealed, but she said the three robbers Thursday did not show any weapon. “Two of them jumped over the teller’s desk,” she said.

All three wore bagging clothing head-to-toe and were wearing masks covering their faces.

On Wednesday night a lone gunman robbed the Juanita Village Wells Fargo, and he also had his face covered. The FBI released blurry photos of that robber Thursday afternoon (see that story by clicking here). But Dietrich said the two robberies do not appear to be related.

“We’re not working on an angle that they’re connected,” she said.
