Weekend Police Blotter: Vehicle Prowls and Vandalisms at Local School

The following incidents were reported between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday.

Friday, Jan. 20

10:19 a.m., 7800 block of 170th Place NE: Man contacted police after his vehicle was broken into overnight. The vehicle was searched but nothing appeared to be stolen.

12:42 p.m., 3000 block of 152nd Avenue NE: Police responded to an attempted wire fraud.

2:53 p.m., 11500 block of 162nd Avenue NE: Police investigated a burglary at a local church. No suspect information is currently available.

11:44 p.m., 7800 block of Leary Way: Police arrested a 34-year-old Sammamish man for suspicion of drunk driving following a traffic stop.

Saturday, Jan. 21

7:59 a.m., 3000 block of 180th Avenue NE: Windows at a school were tagged with graffiti. 

8:29 a.m., 4600 block of 148th Avenue NE: An unknown suspect took a company vehicle for a joyride in the snow, ran into pallets of steel tubing, locked the vehicle and fled the scene.

9:22 a.m., 17100 block of NE 84th ST: Police responded to a report of vandalism.

9:53 a.m., 17100 block of NE 84th ST: Police responded to a report of vandalism.

9:55 a.m., 17100 block of NE 84th ST: Police responded to a report of vandalism.

10:26 a.m., 18100 block of NE 95th ST: Police responded to a report of harrassment.

11:03 a.m., 17100 block of NE 84th ST: Police responded to a report of vandalism.

2:56 p.m., 2500 block of 152nd AVE NE: Police were dispatched following a theft from a motor vehicle.

6:23 p.m., 15100 block of NE 24th ST: Police were dispatched after threats were made.

9:09 p.m., 17600 block of Union Hill Road: Police investigated a shoplifting report.

9:53 p.m., 11400 block of Avondale Road: Police arrested a 22-year-old Redmond woman for assault.

Sunday, Jan. 22

1:24 p.m., 2900 block of 181st Avenue NE: Police arrested a 17-year-old Redmond boy after his mother reported that he had broken into her house.

2:22 p.m., 17100 block of Redmond Way: Police responded to a reported theft at a local business. The suspects had fled by the time police arrived:

3:43 p.m., 12200 block of 164th Court NE: Poilice responded to a reported burglary.

7:07 p.m., Cleveland Street and Redmond Way: While investigating a suspicious circumstance police located a known suspect but were unable to determine a crime. A bicycle and tools were also found nearby and seized as found property:

9:48 p.m., 9800 block of Avondale Road: Police arrested a 27-year-old Redmond man for threats, assault and reckless endangerment.
