Weekend Police Blotter: Crack Pipe Found on Shoplifting Suspect

7:17 a.m., 9300 block of Avondale Road: A vehicle was stolen from an apartment complex.

8:45 a.m., 17400 block of NE 45th St.: A citizen reported that his vehicle was prowled sometime overnight and that a laptop was taken.

9:02 a.m., 8600 block of 161st Ave. NE: Redmond Police investigated a car prowl.

9:28 a.m., 17400 block of NE 40th Place: A citizen reported that his car stereo was stolen from his vehicle sometime overnight.

2:17 p.m., 15200 block of NE 24th St.: A citizen reported that one of her vehicle's windows was smashed while she shopped at a local store. Nothing was reportedly taken.

2:26 p.m., 3000 block of W Lake Sammamish Parkway: Redmond Police responded to a report of credit card fraud that occurred out of state.

4:15 p.m., 2800 block of W Lake Sammamish Parkway: Redmond Police responded to a report of credit card fraud. Several accounts were fraudulently accessed and thousands of dollars were charged to victims' credit cards. The case is under current investigation.

7:04 p.m., 9500 block of Avondale Road: Redmond police responded to a traffic collision, and a 76-year-old Redmond man was arrested for driving while under the influence.

9:08 p.m., 2000 block of 152nd Ave. NE: A Bellevue resident reported her vehicle had been prowled while she was at church.

9:45 p.m., 18600 block of NE 62nd Court: Police responded to a report of domestic violence.

Friday, Nov. 18

7:57 a.m., 10800 block of 178th Place NE: Redmond Police responded to a report of a vehicle prowl. Victim vehicle's driver side window was punched to gain entry. An MP3 player was the only item taken.

8:07 a.m., 10000 block of 179th Ave. NE: Victim reported his car was prowled and a GPS was taken.

8:53 a.m., 7800 block of 172nd Place NE: A Redmond resident reported that his vehicle that was parked in front of his residence had been prowled and his GPS was taken. No witnesses or suspects.

9:00 a.m., 16200 block of Redmond Way: Police responded to a report of malicious mischief.

1:31 p.m., 9000 block of Willows Road: Redmond Police took a car prowl report. Investigation ongoing.

1:58 p.m., Union Hill Road: Construction workers reported a reckless driver. Investigation ongoing.

2:36 p.m., 17200 block of NE 27th Court: Redmond Police arrested a 21-year-old Fort Lewis man on suspicion of domestic assault.

5:05 p.m., 17600 block of Union Hill Road: Police investigated a theft from a building.

9:44 p.m., NE 30th Street & 164th Avenue NE: Police arrested a 27-year-old Bellevue woman on suspicion of DUI.

Saturday, Nov. 19

8:59 a.m., 17300 block of NE 85th Place: Redmond Police responded to a local apartment complex in reference to a car prowl report. A window was smashed and several miscellaneous items were taken from the vehicle.

9:42 a.m., 8000 block of 170th Place NE: Redmond Police responded to residence in reference to a car prowl report. A window smash led to several miscellaneous items being stolen.

10:53 a.m., 17000 block of NE 80th St.: Redmond Police responded to a local residence in reference to a car prowl report. A window smash led to an emergency vehicle kit being stolen from the vehicle.

11:37 a.m., 18600 block of NE 63rd Way: Police responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle.

2:17 p.m., 2200 block of 148th Ave. NE: Redmond Police arrested a 45-year-old Redmond woman on suspicion of shoplifting at a local department store.

2:51 p.m., 16900 block of NE 80th St.: Redmond Police investigated a report of a vehicle prowl at a local apartment complex. The window was smashed, and items were taken from inside.

3:37 p.m., 16300 block of NE 99th St.: Redmond Police investigated a report of a residential burglary.

7:39 p.m., 15700 block of Redmond Way: Redmond Police responded to a report of a theft at a local business. A 46-year-old Seattle man was arrested.

Sunday, Nov. 20

11:27 a.m., 17200 block of Redmond Way: A 41-year-old Seattle man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting and subsequently charged with obstructing and possession of a crack pipe as well.

1:03 p.m., 14500 block of NE 116th St.: Redmond Police recovered a stolen vehicle and box trailer that had been ransacked and abandoned.

6:28 p.m., 15000 block of NE 24th St.: Redmond Police responded to a report of a theft at a local grocery store. A 52-year-old Bellevue woman was arrested.
