Weekend Police Blotter: Stolen Liquor, Profanity-Covered Toilet, Pot-Laced Rice Krispy Treats

The following incidents were reported between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday.

6:16 a.m., 13400 block of NE 119th Way: Three vehicles had the tires slashed overnight.

6:40 a.m., 13400 block of NE 119th Way: Two vehicles had the tires slashed overnight.

9:58 a.m., 13500 block of NE 75th St.: One student at a local school purchased Rice Krispy treats laced with marijuana from another.

2:11 p.m., 8600 block of 154th Ave. NE: Complainant contacted Redmond Police via telephone to advise that an unknown person charged approximately $10,000.00 to a company account. There is no physical credit card associated with the account and it is unknown how information was obtained.

2:47 p.m., 6600 block of 147th Court NE: Redmond Police investigated a theft from a residence.

3:18 p.m., 10900 block of 164th Place NE: Redmond Police investigated a report of fraud related to a federal tax return.

6:39 p.m., 16500 block of NE 74th St.: Police investigated a report of shoplifting.

6:45 p.m., 13900 block of NE 60th Way: Redmond Police investigated a theft of golf clubs.

8:41 p.m., 16500 block of NE 74th St.: Police investigated a report of harassment.

Saturday, June 2

4:49 a.m., 15000 block of NE 24th St.: Redmond Police investigated the theft of liquor from a local business.

12:16 p.m., 11100 block of 159th Ave. NE: Redmond Police responded to a complaint of an unauthorized use of a ATM withdrawal.

1:54 p.m., 8500 block of 148th Ave. NE: Police investigated a report of malicious mischief/vandalism.

2:21 p.m., 8500 block of 148th Ave. NE: Police investigated a report of malicious mischief/vandalism.

3:03 p.m., 14700 block of NE 65th St.: Police arrested a 49-year-old Redmond man on suspicion of assault.

5:28 p.m., 15100 block of NE 24th St.: A female subject fled a local business after stealing items of clothing.

6:35 p.m., 16300 block of NE 99th St.: Police investigated a theft.

10:41 p.m., NE 95th Street and Avondale Road: A 47-year-old Bellevue man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Sunday, June 3

3:27 a.m., 8800 block of 161st Ave. NE: Police responded to an attempted shoplifting.

11:32 a.m., 9000 block of Redmond-Woodinville Road: Unknown person stole a gas can off a boat in the past week.

12:38 p.m., 8700 block of 164th Ave. NE: Redmond Police responded to a verbal argument between two males. No crime was committed.

1:42 p.m., 15200 block of Bel-Red Road: A person threatened a worker when he was denied permission to shop at a business.

3:20 p.m., 5200 block of 155th Ave. NE: Officers investigated a reported residential burglary.

3:57 p.m., 9900 block of Willows Road: Redmond Police responded to a report of malicious mischief on a local trail.

Monday, June 4

12:55 a.m., 13400 block of NE 119th Way: Redmond Police responded to the report of a toilet in the middle of a residential street with profanities written on it. The reporting party was concerned due to recent vandalism in the neighborhood.

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
