Weekend Police Blotter: Suspect Steals Cash from Resident after Being Allowed Inside Home

11:15 a.m., 16400 block of NE 74th St.: Redmond investigated a report of a theft at a local specialty store. A former employee stole merchandise from the store.

4:59 p.m., 17200 block of NE 104th St.: Police responded to a report of a theft.

5:51 p.m., 15100 block of NE 24th St.: Suspect entered bank approached teller, presented note, stating this is a robbery and to give him all the cash. (Editor's note: for full story)

6:31 p.m., 17200 block of Redmond Way: Police responded to a report of shoplifting.

6:43 p.m., 6400 block of 140th Ave. NE: Redmond Police responded with the Redmond Fire Department to a possible drug overdose. The patient was transported to a local medical facility.

6:56 p.m., 3000 block of 167th Place NE: Officers responded to a report of a vehicle theft from a parking garage of a local business.

9:22 p.m., 17200 block of Redmond Way: Redmond Police arrested a 21-year-old Redmond man and 22-year-old Bellevue woman on suspicion of shoplifting from a local grocery store. The female had suspected heroin in her purse.

11:27 p.m., 12100 block of 166th Place NE: A Redmond couple returned home to find their residence had been burglarized.

Saturday, March 24

10:05 a.m., 15200 block of NE 90th St.: Redmond Police responded to a reported car prowl at a local business.

2:58 p.m., 8700 block of 160th Ave. NE: Police investigated a suspicious circumstance.

4:30 p.m., E Lake Sammamish Parkway and 187th Avenue NE: Redmond Police investigated a graffiti complaint.

4:53 p.m., 16400 block of Cleveland St.: Redmond Police investigated a theft complaint.

6:07 p.m., 18400 block of NE 95th St.: Redmond Police investigated a report of theft at a local residence. An unknown male entered the victim's residence claiming he was interested in purchasing the property. While inside, the male subject took cash and coins from the victim.

6:07 p.m., 2200 block of 148th Ave. NE: Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at a local business.

Sunday, March 25

10:38 a.m., 17100 block of NE 92nd St.: Redmond Police arrested a 29-year-old Bremerton man on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.

12:33 p.m., 15400 block of NE 54th Place: Police investigated a car prowl. The victim's vehicle was parked in a residential driveway, and there was no forced entry. Personal items were stolen.

3:19 p.m., 17600 block of NE 70th St.: Redmond Police investigated a motor vehicle prowl.

5:27 p.m., 8400 block of 161st Ave. NE: Redmond Police investigated the report of malicious mischief. A suspect has been identified.

6:39 p.m., 18600 block of Redmond Way: Redmond Police investigated an assault. A 38-year-old Redmond woman was arrested.

7:04 p.m., 17200 block of NE 104th St.: Redmond Police investigated a report of theft outside a local school. The reporting party dropped an electronic device that was later utilized by an unknown suspect.
