Weekend Police Blotter: Threats and Damage at Safeway, Smashed Car Window

8:24 a.m., 16000 block of N.E. 36th Way: Police assisted when a man collapsed in front of a conference center. Medics responded and transported him to a nearby hospital.
11:11 a.m., 2100 block of 148th Ave. N.E.: A trespassing letter was issued.

11:36 a.m., 3100 block of 181st Ave. N.E.: Police responded to a reported arson at a local residence.
1:11 p.m., 14800 block of N.E. 24th St.: Police responded to a reported prescription forgery at a local business.
1:53 p.m., 17700 block of N.E. 65th St.: Police investigated a reported assault.
8:33 p.m., 9100 block of 182nd Ave. N.E.: Police arrested a woman on suspicion of obstructing police while they were investigating a reported domestic disturbance.
9:28 p.m., 12800 block of N.E. 70th St.: A male was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after being stopped for committing traffic violations.
Saturday, May 12:
11:05 a.m., 8700 block of 164th Ave. N.E.: A person reported the back window on her parked vehicle was smashed sometime during the night. Nobody apparently witnessed the incident, and the locked vehicle was not entered
3:30 p.m., eastbound state Route 520 ramp on 148th Ave. N.E.: Police responded to a fire at a transient campsite.
7:05 p.m., 11400 block of Avondale Rd.: Police responded to a reported Dumpster fire. Fire appeared to be started by a discarded cigarette.
8 p.m., 11400 block of 160th Court N.E.: Police responded to a reported solicitor without a permit. The suspect was arrested for failure to have a peddler permit.
Sunday, May 13:
1:17 a.m., 17000 block of N.E. 88th St.: Police responded to a reported theft of taxi services.
1:21 p.m., 17200 block of Redmond Way: Police responded to a disturbance at Safeway. A 21-year-old woman was yelling at employees, stole an employee’s cell phone, punched him and knocked over a wine display, Police Department spokesman Jim Bove said. The woman was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief/vandalism. Several hours later, the suspect called the store and threatened to come back and do more damage.
2:35 p.m., 15900 block of N.E. 85th St.: Police responded to a reported theft of a purse at the Redmond Library. There is no suspect information.
6:33 p.m., 10300 block of 177th Ave. N.E.: Police investigated possession of stolen property, when a stolen iPod was located in the suspect's pocket.
