Weekend Police Blotter: Traffic Stop Yields Drug Paraphernalia, Burglary Tools

Friday, July 6

9:53 a.m., 15400 block of Bel-Red Road: A Redmond based business reported that an unknown person produced checks similar to their business checks and cashed them in a different state.

11:04 a.m., 15600 block of NE 40th St.: Unauthorized online charges were found on a credit card.

2:52 p.m., 9400 block of Red-Wood Road: Redmond Police investigated a report of telephone harassment at a local apartment.

7:45 p.m., 2900 block of 152nd Ave. NE: Redmond Police investigated a disturbance between family members.

8:49 p.m., 7000 block of 148th Ave. NE: Redmond Police took a fraud report from a victim who purchased a stolen cell phone. 

Saturday, July 7

2:13 a.m., 17800 block of Redmond Way: A 26-year-old Kirkland woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

2:58 a.m., 7400 block of W Lake Sammamish Parkway: Redmond Police responded to an assisted living facility to assist staff members in looking for an elderly female with dementia who had wandered off. She was later located unharmed.

4:46 p.m., 17000 block of Avondale Way: Redmond Police responded to a disturbance report at a local residence. A male had broken a window and had left prior to police arrival. 

9:10 p.m., 2100 block of 148th Ave. NE: Police investigated a report of shoplifting.

Sunday, July 8

1:26 p.m., 8700 block of Avondale Road: Redmond Police conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested on outstanding warrants. The passenger, a 35-year-old Snohomish woman, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and burglary tools.
