Weekend Police Blotter: Victim Allegedly Threatened With Knife During Robbery

Police say two male suspects robbed a home in the Grasslawn neighborhood early Friday morning.

ο»ΏPolice say two male suspects threatened a female victim with a knife before they robbed a home in Redmond's Grasslawn neighborhood early Friday morning.

responded at about 9 a.m. Friday to a home in the 14000 block of NE 85th Court for a report of an armed robbery, department spokesman Jim Bove said Monday. The victim was staying at a friend's house and was the only person home at the time of the incident, Bove said.

The victim told police she heard noises outside the house at about 5:45 a.m. and went to investigate. At that point, Bove said, she encountered two males who pushed her back into the home. One of the suspects allegedly held a knife to her throat, he said.

Police say the suspects then forced the victim to stay in a bedroom while they searched the house and stole several items. One of the suspects has been apprehended by police, Bove said, and the investigation is ongoing.

Friday, April 22

7:37 a.m., 4200 block of W Lake Sammamish Parkway: A window was smashed out of a vehicle and a wallet was taken from the front seat.

8:30 a.m., 4200 block of W Lake Sammamish Parkway: A female complainant reported that her passenger window was smashed but nothing was taken from the vehicle.

9:08 a.m., 14000 block of NE 85th Court: Redmond Police responded to the report of an armed robbery at a local residence.

9:26 a.m., 16600 block of Redmond Way: An incident of misdemeanor theft from a motor vehicle was reported.

9:37 a.m., 4200 block of W Lake Sammamish Parkway: A Redmond man discovered his vehicle window was smashed and his laptop was missing from his vehicle.

2:45 p.m., 17200 block of NE 104th St.: Police arrested a 16-year-old Redmond boy on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.

2:45 p.m., 18500 block of NE 20th Place: An incident of credit card or ATM fraud was reported.

4:04 p.m., 14900 block of NE 95th St.: Redmond Police investigated the report of a theft via computer.

4:12 p.m., 7200 block of 170th Ave. NE: Unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and removed a purse. The vehicle was parked in front of a local business.

4:15 p.m., 14700 block of NE 95th St.: Police responded to a report of phone threats.

5:58 p.m., 10900 block of 164th Place NE: Redmond Police responded to a domestic disturbance and arrested a suspect.

8:17 p.m., 4800 block of 156th Ave. NE: A Redmond man was arrested on suspicion of assault.

8:28 p.m., Bear Creek Parkway / Leary Way: Police responded to a report of a hit and run.

Saturday, April 23

10:31 a.m., 2100 block of W Lake Sammamish Parkway: A couple reported they had four checks stolen from their mail box that were later used online to make payments.

7:12 p.m., 8400 block of 164th Ave. NE: Police investigated a report of misdemeanor theft from a motor vehicle.

Sunday, April 24

6:43 a.m., 17600 block of Redmond Way: Redmond Police responded to a reported car prowl in the Central District. A suspect was located a short time later and eventually placed under arrest.

7:58 p.m., 11400 block of Avondale Road: Redmond Police took a report of a stolen bicycle. There is no suspect information.
