King County Transfer Stations (AKA King County Solid Waste Division): Open regular hours.

State of Washington: Closed.

Washington State ferries: All routes will operate on a holiday schedule.

Federal government (including the U.S. Postal Service): Closed

Banks: Many, if not most, will be closed. Check your local branch.

If you're looking for a way to celebrate the 4th of July, several nearby towns will be hosting festivals and fireworks shows. .

RASP is a wonderful group of writers from all walks of Redmond life. They hold an open mic on theRead More last Friday of every month at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. Not only do they have featured readers like Kathleen, but the open mic portion encourages anyone from the community to read their work. It's regularly quite good. All those with a hunger to get their work out in the world should attend.
