Several Metro and Sound Transit routes will undergo service revisions this weekend.

Both agencies will be revising a handful of routes beginning this weekend, June 8-9. The changes include the following routes serving Redmond:

  • Metro route 245: On weekdays, four southbound trips to Factoria leaving the Kirkland Transit Center at 12:03 a.m. and 6:14 a.m., and 6:14 p.m. and 6:44 p.m. will be discontinued. The Regional Mobility grant from the Washington State Department of Transportation that funded these trips will expire on June 30.

This weekend's Metro changes are part of a routine update, but that the agency says it is still prepared to cut up to 17 percent of its service in the fall of 2014 if a funding source is not identified.
