City Council Elects Vache as President, Margeson as VP

The selections were made unanimously at Tuesday's meeting.

The Redmond City Council unanimously selected Pat Vache as president and Hank Margeson as vice president at its Tuesday meeting.

Vache is an Education Hill resident who has served on the city council since 2003, as well as from 1981 to 1989. He was also on the city's planning commission from 1979 to 1980.

Margeson also lives on Education Hill and has been a city council member since 2008, along with a stint on the city's parks and trails commission. He was re-elected by nearly 100 percent of voters in an uncontested election last November.

The position of president was previously held by Richard Cole, who  last month. Vache formerly served as vice president.
