With in Redmond both today and Friday, the city has invited residents to come cool down at the , located at 8703 160th Ave. NE.
As the temperature starts to rise and the sun beats down, remember to drink plenty of fluids, use sunscreen for protection and come down to the Redmond Senior Center for a cold glass of ice tea and an air conditioned building. The Redmond Senior Center will be available Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. as a cooling center as the weather gets hot. Stop by the senior center and enjoy lunch, socialize with others or find a new class that may interest you.
