City to Host Reception for Redmond Central Connector

Event will celebrate the finalization of the project's plans and discuss ways the community can get involved.

Redmond Mayor John Marchione, city council members and other officials will host a reception Tuesday to celebrate the finalization of the master plan and discuss how public and private organizations can work together to enhance the city's downtown area.

The reception will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, in the lobby at 15670 NE 85th St. Refreshments will be served.

The Redmond Central Connector will be located in the former Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad corridor, which runs through Redmond. Over the next two years, the city will revitalize this area into a linear park that will provide increased connectivity for cyclists and pedestrians.
