As part of the Judiciary Committee, DelBene will be at the center of a number of issues important to the residents of Washington’s 1st district including protecting civil liberties, tackling immigration reform and intellectual property law. “I’m honored to serve on the House Judiciary Committee and represent Washington’s 1st District,” said DelBene. “Serving on this committee will give me an opportunity to bring my experience in the private sector to help deliver real reforms on issues that will have a lasting impact on the residents of the district. Whether it’s ensuring our policies and laws keep up with our fast moving, innovative technology and manufacturing industries or tackling immigration reform that will grow our economy and expand opportunity for working families, I am eager to get to work.”
