DelBene to Host Interactive Budget Workshop in Bothell

Constituents will be able to evaluate options and write their own federal budget during the workshop Thursday in Bothell. Another workshop will be on Wednesday in Mount Vernon.

Freshman Congresswoman Suzan DelBene will host two interactive budget workshops for her 1st District constituents Wednesday and Thursday, May 29-30, in Bothell and Mount Vernon.

The event will allow residents to share their ideas by evaluating a range of options and writing a federal budget.

In a press release, DelBene (D-Wash.) indicated she hopes the workshops will work past partisan rhetoric and focus on positive steps toward the budget and long-term economic health.

The two workshops will be held in Mount Vernon and Bothell. The events are free, but due to limited space participants are asked to RSVP at: 425-485-0085 or RSVP.DelBene@mail.house.gov.

The workshops are:

  • Wednesday, May 29: Mount Vernon, 6-8 p.m. at Skagit Valley College Cafeteria, 2405 East College WayMount Vernon, WA 98273.
  • Thursday, May 30: Bothell , 6-8 p.m. at Northshore Senior Center Multipurpose Room, 10201 E Riverside Drive, Bothell, WA 98011
