The city is gathering input on how to make downtown Redmond a more vibrant arts and nightlife destination.

The City of Redmond will host a "Feedback Festival" on Friday, May 3, to get input on how it can help enhance arts and nightlife in the downtown area.

The event will include a two-hour workshop featuring local arts professionals, an open-dialogue feedback forum with Mayor John Marcione, and a "Taste of Redmond" food event at local downtown businesses. (Click here for complete schedule.)

Here is some more info from the city:

The Feedback Festival is designed to offer a series of fun conversation starters designed to stimulate a creative dialog about the role the cultural arts can play in Redmond’s developing Downtown neighborhood. Attendees have the opportunity to comment on draft recommendations within the Downtown Cultural Corridor Master Plan to activate an empty storefront and create a place for rich discussion about the cultural arts.
