Email to the Editor: Circulator Should Be Included in Transportation Plan

The city will hold a public meeting on its transportation master plan this Thursday.

The City of Redmond is going to host a meeting on Thursday evening, Nov. 17, at 6 p.m. at . The purpose is to solicit comments on the next iteration of the ransportation master plan.

My name is Paul Lester, and I am on the Redmond Senior Center Advisory Committee. We submitted a proposal over a year ago to have the Redmond government start a "Redmond Town Trolley" circulator bus route to allow seniors more mobility in reaching medical and shopping sites in the downtown area.

This service would also be good for the downtown residents and students to get around town without use of cars.

Our proposal is not included in this update at this time and I am requesting that seniors and residents of the Redmond area please come to this review and show their support plus the importance of this type of service for the community.
