Continuing the year-long celebration of Redmond's 1912-2012 Centennial, please join local historian, Tom Hitzroth for a narrated tour of the Old Redmond Cemetery.
This is Redmond's original cemetery and serves as the resting place for some of the City's early settlers and founding families.
Mr. Hitzroth will provide information about Redmond's history, funerary design and symbolism, and epidemics that affected the local community.
The July 15th narrated tour of the Old Redmond Cemetery at 7000 180th Avenue NE will begin at the flagpole located inside the Cemetery.
Parking is available at the Bear Creek Park and Ride at 7760 178th Place NE. Please do not park in the Cemetery - space is limited. This tour also runs from 1:00pm to 2:30pm.
