Good To Go! Passes to be Sold at Redmond Festivities

Although an exact date has yet to be set, toll collection on the SR520 bridge is expected to start this summer.

Residents in Redmond and nearby areas can purchase their Good To Go! passes at these locations next week:

•, 7031 148th Ave NE: July 1, from 3 - 7 p.m; and July 2, from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Bring at least one license plate number and a credit card or bank account information to open an account.

•: July 8 from 6 – 10 p.m.; and July 9 from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. at the , 15670 NE 85th Street. Bring atleast one license plate number and a credit card or bank account information to open an account.

Tolling on SR 520 Bridge will be all-electronic. Vehicles passing through the tolling facility will have either their Good To Go! Pass or license plate scanned and their account charged accordingly. No stopping at a toll booth or slowing to pay the toll. Those without an account will be sent a toll bill in the mail, at a higher toll rate.

Tolls will be collected in both eastbound and westbound across the bridge.
If you can't get out to the Redmond locations, there are several ways to purchase a Pass before tolling begins:

• Online at the www.GoodToGo520.org website.

• At a participating Safeway stores—you must then go online or call the customer service center to set up an account using the pass number

• At a walk-in or mobile customer service center

• By calling 1-866-936-8246

Toll payments can be made in one of three ways:

• With a prepaid Good To Go! account and purchase of a pass to mount in or on the vehicle. This option allows for automatic replenishment of your account through use of a credit card or electronic check.

• With a prepaid Good To Go! Pay-By-Plate account, which doesn’t require a pass and identifies your vehicle through the license plate number. With this option you would be assessed a $0.25 surcharge per transaction.

• Have a bill sent to the registered owner of the vehicle. With this Pay-By-Mail option you pay a toll rate thatis $1.50 more than the Good To Go! rate.

The minimum opening balance for all Good To Go! accounts is $30. How often you intend to drive across the SR520Bridge will influence which payment option you choose. See the full tolling details at www.goodtogo520.org.
