Immigration Reform: DelBene to Meet With Locals in Bothell Tuesday

With immigration reform legislation passed in the US Senate, it is now up to the House of Representatives to take up immigration reform.

The following information is from Congresswoman Suzan DelBene's office.

Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (WA-01) will be in Bothell tomorrow to hear directly from local businesses, workers, students and families about the need to move forward on comprehensive immigration reform to create jobs, grow the economy and fix our nation’s broken system.

On June 27, the US Senate passed a comprehensive immigration reform bill. With that legislation having passed, it is now up to the House of Representatives to take up immigration reform. DelBene serves on the House Judiciary Committee, which is where the first debate on and consideration of any comprehensive immigration reform will take place in the House.
