A public hearing will also be held to give residents the opportunity to weigh in on an amendement to the comprehensive plan and zoning code that would increase building height limits to six stories in some areas in the city's central area.

The city council is also scheduled to vote on a speed limit ordinance that would apply higher maximum speeds to arterial streets that have recently been annexed into the city limits and are currently operating under a prima facie limit of 25 mph.
