On The Agenda: Staff Credit Cards, Perrigo Park, Code Rewrite Approval

City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. tonight

The agenda for tonight's city council meeting includes staff credit cards, additional funding for Perrigo Park, and approval of the Redmond Code Rewrite, among other items.

Council members are set to vote on an ordinance that would adopt a staff credit card system for travel expenses. According to a report from Finances and Information Services Director Mike Bailey, city staff already uses purchasing cards for incidental day-to-day expenses and would like to expand the program to include travel costs.

The consent agenda also includes the approval of $50,700 in additional funds for phase II of the construction of Perrigo Park. According to a memo from Mayor John Marchione, the city needs the extra funding to handle permit issues that have come up regarding a portion of the park that is under King County's jurisdiction.

Other agenda items include an update to the Bear Creek Neighborhood Plan, Redmond Way resurfacing, and a staff report on the Redmond Village Square Comprehensive Plan and Development Guide amendments.
