Paving Scheduled for Next Two Saturdays on Redmond Way

The city says drivers should expect major delays and use alternate routes, if possible.

Drivers who travel in the Redmond Way corridor should expect major delays for the next two Saturdays as crews pave a 1.5-mile stretch of the road between 132nd Avenue Northeast and West Lake Sammamish Parkway.

The city has issued a news release advising drivers to use alternate routes, such as Old Redmond Road, if possible.

The paving will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, and Saturday, Aug. 18, weather permitting. The city says traffic in both directions will be accommodated during the construction work, but delays will be significant.
